The primary role and responsibility of the Supervisor, is to ensure the quality control of the entire mitigation process from first response to project completion. The person filling this role understands and incorporates a, “whatever it takes” attitude, while following industry standards for all water, fire, mold, and bio-hazard losses. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and promoting the Vision, Mission and Values of the company
  • Understanding and promoting the operational system used by the company
  • Obtaining all required certifications from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restorations (IICRC) current, and to make sure all Supervisors have their certifications needed to manage jobs
  • Ablility to select and operate appropriate equipment and procedures
  • Ablility be able to interact with customers in disaster response activities
  • Ablility be able to develop relationships with property managers, adjusters and/or residents as well as other potential clients
  • Ability to be onsite with customers to develop the job scope, write an estimate on T&M or Xactimate and close the job with the customer
  • Maintaining a professional, positive attitude and appearance at all times
  • Scheduling and training production employees regularly pertaining to job quality or changes within the industry’s standards.
  • Developing a team effort with all field operations staff and other members of the organization
  • Using ethical decision making practices in doing what is right for the company in all situations 
  • Keeping up with OSHA and EPA safety requirements and implementing them on the jobsites
  • Understanding all job responsibilities, the authority of the general manager and owner while assisting others in promoting the success of the company
  • Demonstrating a “Whatever it takes” attitude at all times
  • Having a positive, professional, and respectful attitude towards all staff members on the Mitigation Team

Knowledge of proper procedures and equipment associated with each field for the following:

  • IICRC Restoration Accreditation 
  • Water Restoration (WTR) / Equipment and Procedures
  • Mold Remediation (AMRT) / Equipment and Procedures
  • Structural Remediation (ASD) / Equipment and Procedures 
  • Fire/Smoke Remediation / Equipment and Procedures
  • Bio-Hazard Remediation / Equipment and Procedures
  • Carpet Cleaning / Equipment and Procedures
  • Cleaning Solutions for all other mitigation service needs

Project Manager I/Operations Director

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required; advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus
  • Experience in construction industry, preferred
  • Experience capturing job scopes and providing estimates using Xactimate or T&M
  • Success in executing and managing projects
  • Precise and articulate written and oral communication; ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and outward to a wide range of audiences
  • Must be self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Must be honest and conduct professional matters with integrity 
  • Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate the needs of the business
  • Willing to travel (30% of the time)
